Do I have to register to purchase from the Garden Home Store?

No. Absolutely not. Anyone can purchase just one, or multiple items from our range without the need for an account. Simply put, it is just that some customers may prefer to register their details once, rather than at checkout every time a purchase is completed.

Buying from the Garden Home Store for the first time?

By registering on our website you will create a username and password to log in to the site with. This gives you access to all our services, discounts and new product availability, and you can place your orders without completing your details each time.

How do I register a new account?

Click on Register. This will take you to a form where you will be required to fill in your details. Once registered, your username for the site will be the same as the email address specified during registration as will the password you created at the same time.

How do I log in to the site?

Click on Your Account at the top of the page and enter the email address and password you generated during registration.

How do I modify my data?

Click on Your Account and enter your username and password in the Login screen. Once in your account you will see a list of any orders you have placed plus "To edit your account details please click here" where you can modify the information you have supplied at any time.

What if I forget my password?

Click on Your Account and on the Login page click on the link "Click here if you've forgotten your password". Then simply enter your email address and click on the button "Request a new Password". You will then receive an email containing a link through which your password can be updated.

Is it safe to buy on Garden Home Store?

We are fully committed to making our site as secure as possible for our customers. In line with this we follow strict maintenance, data storage and technical guidelines to prevent unauthorised access to the site. All payments to Garden Home Store are made via internationally recognised, secure, third party payment gateways and none of the payment information is stored on our site.

Which types of payment does Garden Home Store accept?

For all customers we accept payment by PayPal, or if you do not have a PayPal account we accept all major credit and debit cards such as Switch, Solo, Master Card, Visa, American Express, Delta and Electron. Credit and debit card payments are available through the Stripe payment gateway as an option without the need to sign up for or log in to a PayPal account.

How do I know if Garden Home Store has received my order?

When you place an order you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. It is most important that the email address in your order information or registration is correct, as all contact is made via this.

Can I change an order after I have submitted it?

So that you receive your order in the shortest possible time, your order will begin to be processed immediately after being submitted through the website. Consequently, no modifications can be made once the order has been submitted. If you want to cancel or change your order please use the "Contact Us" message page stating the order number that appears on the order acknowledgement email.

Is an invoice enclosed with the order?

No, the order contains a packing slip only. An invoice is available by request, but please note this will not contain VAT details as we are not VAT registered.

How can I tell whether an item is in stock when I’m ordering in the online shop?

When browsing products on the website there is an "Add To Basket" button on each product page which only displays when the item is in stock. If the item is out of stock, this button is replaced by an "Out Of Stock" button and it is not possible to purchase this item.

What is the cost of delivery?

Our Economy Delivery is a 2 to 4 working days service starting at £1.50 for individual, small, light items, and increasing through different price bands, depending on the packaged weight of the total order (see "Delivery Information" page for more details). We use Royal Mail 2nd Class and courier services depending on the size and weight of the package. Because we know how important it is to get your order to you as soon as possible, we aim (but do not guarantee) to deliver all orders within the stated time period, however, please note that deliveries to remote locations may take a little longer. We can not deliver to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses.

How will I know the status of my delivery?

If we have your email address, then we will send you an email when your order has been dispatched. The email may contain a link so that you can track the delivery progress of your order where applicable (courier services only). If you have not received your order by the morning of the day after the scheduled delivery date, then please contact us. Deliveries are normally made from Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6.00pm. The Economy Delivery of 2 to 4 working days does not include weekends or public holidays.

What happens if there are problems with my order?

Should this be the case, you’ll be informed by one of our Customer Service Team.

Do you deliver abroad?

Gardenandhomestore.co.uk is a wholly UK based operation, and only delivers within the UK mainland, Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland. We do not deliver overseas.

How do I return something I’ve ordered online?

In the first instance, please contact us via the message form on the "Contact Us" page and give a brief description of the problem and the order number. We will always try to resolve any problems you may have had with your order as soon as possible. For further information please review our "Refund Policy".
